I minted the Armie DM TMI NFTs on April 20th, 2021 from the comfort of bed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A few days later, henchmen showed up where I was living. I fled my apartment to find safety — living between friends, hotels, and even abandoned offices. These photographs were taken during the chaos.

The Armie DM TMI NFTs are more than ‘protest art’; these are the first minted artworks that utilize blockchain technology in a direct action. To be certain, Dibs on Ribs and the Caligula Triptych are the first direct activist artworks hosted on the blockchain.

Armie DM TMI NFT: Loading… recreates this moment, photographed in collaboration with NC at the Roxy hotel. This collection of imagery is an homage to all of my favorite artists and writers who created work in bed.
